• Description: Trilaciclib is a small molecule that inhibits the CDK4/6 complex and is an inhibitor of cell proliferation. It has been shown to inhibit cancer growth in vitro, in vivo, and in humans. The drug works by targeting the microenvironment and inhibiting fibroblast growth factor (FGF) from binding to its receptor on the surface of cells. This leads to cell death through apoptosis and immunogenic cell death, which can be used for the treatment of tumors. Trilaciclib also enhances natural killer cell activity, which may help with cancer patients’ immunity against tumor cells.
