Informations sur le produit
2-Oxo-7-azabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-7-carboxylic acid 1,1-dimethylethyl ester is an enantiomer of epibatidine that binds to the α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor and activates it. This drug has been shown to be more potent than epibatidine and is thought to be a structural analog of epibatidine. It has a high affinity for nicotinic acetylcholine receptors and shows pharmacological effects similar to those of acetylcholine. The binding of 2-oxo-7-azabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-7-carboxylic acid 1,1-dimethylethyl ester to the α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor may lead to therapeutic efficacy in the treatment of diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease
