Description :TC SL C5 is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the extracellular domain of human growth hormone receptor and inhibits its activity. The antibody is useful as a research tool in cell biology, pharmacology, and ligand-receptor interactions. TC SL C5 has been shown to inhibit the activation of human platelets by thrombin, which is mediated by the binding of thrombin to its receptor on platelets. TC SL C5 also inhibits the ionic current in rat brain cells, which may be due to its ability to bind to potassium channels.
