Informations sur le produit
7-Hydroxy-2-oxo-2H-chromene-3-carbaldehyde is an endogenous molecule that is formed by the oxidation of 7-hydroxy-2H-chromene. It has been shown to cause senescence in cells, which can be detected by fluorescence microscopy. The senescent cells will also have a β-galactosidase activity that can be visualized with fluorescent microscopy. 7HOCHCA has been shown to induce cancer cell death and apoptosis. This molecule is found in many food sources, including green tea and red wine. This molecule may also be used for the targeted delivery of drugs to lysosomes or other cellular compartments. Monitoring of this molecule can be done using fluorophore enhancement techniques.
