Informations sur le produit
- 2-Bromo-9,9-Dioctylfluorene
2-Bromo-9,9-di-n-octylfluorene is a fluorescent dye that has been used in devices such as organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic field effect transistors (OFETs). It is also used to detect metal ions due to its fluorescence properties. 2-Bromo-9,9-di-n-octylfluorene can be synthesized by reacting picolinic acid and ethyne. This compound is structurally stable at temperatures up to 220 degrees Celsius. The 2-bromo derivative of 9,9'-dianthryl fluorene has been studied by x-ray crystallography and picolinic acid has been studied by both x-ray crystallography and molecular dynamic simulations. These studies have shown that the interactions between the picolinic acid molecule and transition metal ions are important for the stability of 2BDF.
