Informations sur le produit
5-Fluoro-1H-indole-2-carbohydrazide is a geometric isomer of 1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid. It is a planar molecule that has hydrogen bonds to its neighboring molecules. The 5-fluoro group is electron withdrawing and the 1H-indolium ring has a positive charge at the 2 position, which attracts the electrons in the carbonyl group of the adjacent molecule. This causes one of the hydrogen atoms to be shared between two molecules, and this bond is weaker than normal.
