TBAP-001 has been shown to inhibit the activation of voltage-gated sodium channels and calcium channels by high concentrations of extracellular potassium ions. TBAP-001 has also been shown to affect the binding of ligands such as ATP, ADP, or AMP to their receptors, increasing or decreasing receptor activity.
