Acetyl sulfide is a molecule that contains a hydroxyl group, sugar residues, and acetamide. It has conformational properties and binding constants. Acetyl sulfide can be synthesized by the palladium-catalyzed coupling of an inorganic acid (e.g., hydrogen chloride) with a carbonyl group (e.g., acetaldehyde). This compound is also used for the synthesis of glycopeptides and insulin resistance.
