Informations sur le produit
- Bromo-(2-Phenylphenyl)Magnesium
4-Biphenylmagnesium bromide is a Grignard reagent used in the synthesis of organic compounds. It is prepared by the reaction of an organomagnesium compound with biphenyl. 4-Biphenylmagnesium bromide is an optical reagent that can be used to measure the concentration of serine proteases and other luminescent substances. The reaction between 4-biphenylmagnesium bromide and an imine leads to an unstable magnesium-nitrogen triple bond, which undergoes a nucleophilic attack from water to form a new carbonyl group. This process is called a "Grignard reaction".
