Informations sur le produit
- Methyl benzylhydrazine
1-Benzyl-1-methylhydrazine is a hydroquinone with chemical formula C6H4(CH2)2N2. It is used as a catalyst in the synthesis of benzamides and amidrazones. 1-Benzyl-1-methylhydrazine has been shown to inhibit the formation of 8-hydroxyquinoline, which is an intermediate in the synthesis of halogenated aromatic compounds. This product also inhibits terminal alkynes from converting into anti-markovnikov products, which are more reactive than their corresponding hydroquinone derivatives. 1-Benzyl-1-methylhydrazine has been shown to be noncompetitive against amidrazones and hydrazines, meaning that it does not compete with these reagents for binding sites on the substrate molecule. This product also has inhibitory properties against halides, such as chlorine gas or iodine.
