Informations sur le produit
- 2-Amino-pyridine-3-carbaldehyde oxime HCl
2-Amino-pyridine-3-carbaldehyde oximehydrochloride (APC) is a reactive molecule that has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of the polymerase chain reaction in mammalian cells. APC inhibits the enzymatic activity of DNA polymerase, which prevents DNA replication and transcription. The molecule binds to the activated enzyme and blocks the active site, preventing covalent bonding with the deoxyribonucleotide triphosphate. This inhibition is reversible, as APC can be hydrolyzed by peroxidases or catalase.
