Informations sur le produit
1,3,5-Triaza-7-phosphaadamantane-7-oxide (1,3,5-TPAO) is a chemical compound that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of cancer cells. It is also an antibacterial agent with human dermal fibroblast activity. The crystal structure of 1,3,5-TPAO has been determined by x-ray diffraction and it has been found to have similar properties to other quinolones. 1,3,5-TPAO interacts with DNA at the N2 position of guanine and inhibits bacterial DNA synthesis. This interaction alters the conformation of DNA and prevents the formation of hydrogen bonds between guanine and adenine residues.
