Description :
3-Phenylprop-2-yn-1-amine is a p450 enzyme inhibitor that has been shown to inhibit the activity of b-raf, a protein that regulates cell growth. 3-Phenylprop-2-yn-1-amine is also able to inhibit the water vapor cycle and copper complex, which is involved in the formation of hydroperoxides. This drug has been shown to have cytotoxic effects on cancer cells and can be used as a pharmacological agent for the treatment of cancer. 3PPPA has been shown to have receptor activity in vitro, but not in vivo. The mechanism of this receptor activity is not known.
