Informations sur le produit
Catechin 5-O-gallate is a molecule that is derived from catechol and gallic acid. It has antioxidant properties, which may be attributed to its ability to scavenge free radicals. Catechin 5-O-gallate has been shown to have antidiabetic effects in animal studies and has also shown anti-cancer effects in cultured human cancer cells. This molecule also inhibits an enzyme called carbonic anhydrase, which is responsible for the conversion of carbon dioxide into bicarbonate ions. The inhibition of this enzyme could lead to melanosis, a condition characterized by abnormal pigmentation.
