Informations sur le produit
Methyl (2S)-2-amino-3-methyl-3-sulfanylbutanoate is a hydrochloric acid salt of the ester hydrochloride of 2-amino-3-methyl-3-[(1E,4E)-buta-1,3-dienyl]butanoate. It is a reactive chemical that reacts with hydrogen chloride to produce methyl 2-(hydroxymethyl)sulfanylpropanoate and sodium chloride in an exothermic reaction. Methyl (2S)-2-amino-3-methyl-3-sulfanylbutanoate has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of apoptosis, which is the process by which cells commit suicide. Nitrogen atoms are found on the amine group and on the terminal sulfur atom of the sulfonyl group, while metal chelate is formed between nitrogen atoms and glutamate. The molecule also contains an oxygen atom that coordinates with a water molecule
