Description :
Potassium (chloromethyl)trifluoroborate is a pharmaceutical agent that can be used as a modulator of receptors. It has been shown to be a potent, selective and specific modulator at the 5-HT2A receptor site. This drug has been shown to have therapeutic properties in the treatment of schizophrenia and depression. Potassium (chloromethyl)trifluoroborate is not active against carboxamide-sensitive sites, which are involved in the regulation of smooth muscle contraction, nor does it affect equation-sensitive sites, which regulate neurotransmitter release or other functions.
