The reaction mechanism is initiated by the formation of a metal alkyl complex and a covalent bond with the polymer chain, which leads to crosslinking of the polymer chains. 2-Ethoxyethyl Isobutyrate increases fluidity and reactivity, as well as reducing viscosity during polymerization.
