Informations sur le produit
N,N-Dimethyl-3β-hydroxycholenamide is a protein that has been shown to have potent inducers of oxidative injury. It also has inhibitory properties that may be due to its ability to complex with iron and inhibit the enzyme heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1). This inhibition leads to an increase in the amount of reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced. ROS are known to cause oxidative injury in biological samples by inducing lipid peroxidation, DNA damage, and protein oxidation. N,N-Dimethyl-3β-hydroxycholenamide has been shown to be involved in the pathogenic mechanism of many diseases including cancer, diabetes, and atherosclerosis.
