• Description: CEP-28122 is a potent antitumor agent that inhibits the growth of tumors by inhibiting the tyrosine kinase domain of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). CEP-28122 is activated by cyclin-dependent kinases to inhibit EGFR. It has been shown to be active in clinical studies for colorectal adenocarcinoma and other cancers. CEP-28122 has a high degree of selectivity for tumor cells, which are characterized by activation of the EGFR tyrosine kinase domain, and low toxicity for normal cells.
