Description :
Meriolin 3 is a small molecule that inhibits CDK4/6, which are enzymes involved in the regulation of cell cycle progression. Meriolin 3 has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and induce apoptosis. Meriolin 3 also inhibits HIV-1 replication by binding to the viral RNA polymerase, preventing viral transcription and replication. Meriolin 3 is under investigation as a potential treatment for colorectal carcinoma.
