Description

1-BOC 7-Chloroindole is an amine that is used in the synthesis of carbamates. It is prepared by the amination reaction of anilines with chlorinated aromatic compounds, such as 7-chloroindole. This reaction can be catalyzed by palladium and trihalogenated compounds. The intramolecular amination of 1-BOC 7-Chloroindole produces a bond between the benzene ring and nitrogen atom. The product formed is 2,3-dihydrobenzofuran, which has been shown to be a potent insecticide against mosquitoes and other insects.br>br>
