Description

1-(2-Furyl)-3-buten-1-yl](2-thienylmethyl)amine hydrochloride is a hydrogen bond donor that forms chains and has a cation. It is a white crystalline solid with a crystal structure of anions and chloride. It also has polymer chains which are made up of repeating units in a head to tail fashion and have an x-ray diffraction pattern. The polymer chains form one side of the crystal and the anions, chloride, and hydrogen bonds form the other side. The diffraction patterns show that the polymer chain has x-ray diffraction analysis which is obtained by shining x-rays on the sample to obtain information about its atomic arrangement.
