Description :
Epacadostat is a drug that inhibits the protein kinase, Janus-activated kinase 2 (JAK2), and thus blocks the production of cytokines. Epacadostat has been shown to be effective in inhibiting tumor growth in mice with cancer. Epacadostat also binds to the toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) and is being studied for its potential use in treating infectious diseases. Epacadostat has shown anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
