Angiotensin II is a hormone that is produced in the kidneys and acts on the blood vessels, heart, and other tissues. It is also known as angiotensin II acetate salt H-Asp-Arg-Val-Tyr-Ile-His-Pro-Phe-OH acetate salt. Angiotensin II can increase blood pressure by constricting blood vessels and causing the release of aldosterone from the adrenal glands.
