Informations sur le produit
3-Acetylphenylbenzamide (APB) is a potent and selective HIV integrase inhibitor that inhibits the catalytic activity of HIV integrase. It has been shown to inhibit the replication of HIV-1 in human cells, including primary CD4+ T cells, by blocking the integration of viral DNA into the host genome. APB is structurally related to diketoacids, which are inhibitors of cellular protein synthesis, and can be used as a lead compound for developing therapeutics against HIV-1. The chemical structure of APB has been validated using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
