Trans-4-aminoadamantan-1-ol hydrochloride is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of aminoadamantanes. It is a potent inhibitor of 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase, an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of 11β-hydroxysteroids to their corresponding 11-keto forms.
