• Description: N-(3-Aminophenyl)butanamide is a biochemical that modulates the actin filament. It has been shown to increase the number of fluorescent actin filaments in a cell, as well as inhibit platelet activation and thrombin receptor activity. N-(3-Aminophenyl)butanamide also inhibits the release of calcium ions by acting as an ionophore, which is an agent that increases the permeability of membranes to ions.
