Description :
Amino(3-hydroxyphenyl)acetic acid is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with an acrid odor. It is soluble in water and organic solvents. Amino(3-hydroxyphenyl)acetic acid is one of the most potent inhibitors of adipose tissue lipolysis. This compound has also been shown to reduce serum glucose levels by inhibiting the release of glucose from the liver, as well as reducing food intake, and preventing obesity in animal models.
