Description :
2-(2-Aminopyridin-1-ium-1-yl)acetate is an antibiotic drug that belongs to the heterocyclic group of antibiotics. It inhibits bacterial growth by binding to the enzyme, hypophosphorous acid reductase, which is required for the synthesis of nucleotides and phospholipids.
