Description :
4-Aminoisobenzofuran-1(3H)-one is a structural analog of theophylline, which inhibits the phosphodiesterase enzyme that is involved in the degradation of cyclic AMP. It has been shown to have a high degree of biological activity in isolated rat thoracic preparations and in vitro tests on rat lung tissue.
