Description :
3-Aminooxetane-3-carboxylic acid is a ligand that binds to the androgen receptor. It has been shown to have a high affinity for the androgen receptor, with a binding constant of 4.87 x 10 M. This compound has also been shown to act as an agonist of the androgen receptor, which may be due to its ability to bind competitively to the androgen receptor in vitro. 3-Aminooxetane-3-carboxylic acid has also been shown to act as an antagonist of the androgen receptor in vitro, possibly by blocking the binding site for dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
