4-Amino-N-methylbenzeneethanesulfonamide is a chemical used in the synthesis of other compounds. It is a white solid that has a melting point of 82.5°C and can be stored at room temperature. 4-Amino-N-methylbenzeneethanesulfonamide reacts with hydrochloric acid to form an amide, which condenses with hydrazine to form an amide that cyclizes with thiophosgene to form a chloroform. This reaction also produces acid hydrazide, which reacts with pyridine to produce ft-ir and carboxylic acids.
