Description :
3-Amino-3-(3-nitrophenyl)propanoicacid is a perchlorate salt. It can be stabilized by hydrogen bonding with anions, such as chloride ions, or cations, such as potassium ions. 3-Amino-3-(3-nitrophenyl)propanoicacid has two conformations: one in which the nitro group is equatorial and the other in which the nitro group is axial. Dimers of 3-amino-3-(3-nitrophenyl)propanoic acid are also possible due to hydrogen bonding between nitro groups in adjacent molecules.
