3-Amino-2-methylamino-6-methoxypyridine2hcl is a conditioning agent that belongs to the group of benzyl compounds. It is a solid powder with a colorless to light yellow appearance. 3-Amino-2-methylamino-6-methoxypyridine2hcl has been used in the production of sealants and cavity linings, as well as an ingredient in inorganic acid compositions for metal surface treatment. It can be used as a condensation agent or coagulant in organic acid compositions and colorant compositions. 3-Amino-2-methylamino-6-methoxypyridine2hcl has also been used as an alkali metal sulfide substitute.
