Atomoxetine is a drug that is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It has been shown in clinical trials to be effective in treating ADHD in children, but it is not FDA-approved for use in this age group. Atomoxetine can be used with other medications such as benzalkonium chloride, which is an anti-allergen that may help reduce the side effects of atomoxetine. The molecular weight of atomoxetine hydrochloride is 336.8 g/mol and the molecular formula is C17H25NO3. Atomoxetine has a high affinity for norepinephrine and serotonin neurotransmitter receptors and its efficacy may be due to its ability to inhibit the reuptake of these neurotransmitters by neurons. The chemical composition of atomoxetine hydrochloride was determined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis and two-way crossover experiments.
