Description :
2-Amino-N-(5-chloropyridin-2-yl)-5-methoxybenzamide is a compound that inhibits the enzyme methoxybenzoic acid synthase. It is used as an inhibitor of the synthesis of methoxybenzoic acid, which is an intermediate in the biosynthesis of tyrosine. This product has been shown to inhibit the production of tyrosine and dopamine, which may be due to its inhibition of methoxybenzoic acid synthase.
