Acid Blue 29 is a glycol ether that can be used as a catalyst in the process of wastewater treatment. It has been shown to have good chemical stability and solid-state properties, which makes it suitable for use in industrial processes. Acid Blue 29 has been shown to cause a phase transition at relatively low temperatures, which can be used in the process of wastewater treatment. This compound also has cationic surfactant properties, and is very acidic (pH=1). This acidity can be activated if required by adding an acid, such as caproic acid.
