• Description: 2-Anilino-6-dibutylamino-3-methylfluoran is a switchable fluorescent dye that has been used to detect and measure biochemically active substances in living cells. The dye is introduced into the cell, where it binds to specific proteins or nucleic acids, causing a change in fluorescence.
