Description

2-Aminoacridone is a fluorescent dye that exhibits low cytotoxicity and high resistance to chemical degradation. The fluorescence of 2-aminoacridone is detected by a fluorescence detector, which can be used for the detection of glycan structures. This chemical compound has been shown to have antibacterial efficacy against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, with an MIC value of 0.6 mg/ml. 2-Aminoacridone also has been shown to bind to the α1-acid glycoprotein in plasma, making it an ideal candidate for use as an analytical method for the determination of this protein in blood plasma. The fluorescence intensity can be used as a measure of the concentration of α1-acid glycoprotein in blood. In addition, 2-aminopyridine has been shown to inhibit enzymes such as phosphatases and esterases when they are bound to their substrates. This
