Description

Alcohols, C10-12, Ethoxylated Propoxylated are a class of compounds that have a hydroxyl group (-OH) bonded to an aliphatic hydrocarbon chain. They are typically used as surfactants. Alcohols, C10-12, Ethoxylated Propoxylated act as surface active agents that lower the interfacial tension between two liquids and can be used in cosmetics and detergents to break down fats and oils. Alcohols, C10-12, Ethoxylated Propoxylated are also used as a solvent for dyeing textiles and printing inks. Alcohols, C10-12, Ethoxylated Propoxylated have been shown to have cholesterol esterase activity and may be useful in the treatment of high cholesterol levels. Alcohols, C10-12, Ethoxylated Propoxylated are also used as cross-linking agents in plastics manufacturing.
