Description :(3-Aminophenyl)acetic acid is a molecule that contains hydrogen bond, amide, and carboxylic acid functional groups. It has been shown to bind to the lipid A region of LPS-induced lung cells and polyclonal antibodies and to act as a structural biology probe in supramolecular systems. This compound also exhibits low detection limits and high affinity binding. The intermolecular hydrogen bonding in this compound is strong enough to be detected by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
