• Description: N-Acetyltryptamine is a serotonin receptor agonist with high affinity for the 5-HT7 receptor. It inhibits proliferation of skin cells and exhibits an inhibitory effect on human serum. N-Acetyltryptamine also has affinity for the 5-HT2A receptors, which are involved in the regulation of sleep. N-Acetyltryptamine binds to these receptors at high concentrations and induces physiological effects such as inhibition of enzyme activities, transfer reactions, and light emission. This drug has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the growth of certain tumor cells in mice.
