• Description: 1-Acetoxyethyl 2-(2-fluoro-4-biphenylyl)propionate is a synthetic analog of flurbiprofen that has potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug activity. It binds to the same receptor as flurbiprofen, but with a higher affinity. 1-Acetoxyethyl 2-(2-fluoro-4-biphenylyl)propionate is used for the treatment of postoperative pain and inflammation following abdominal surgery.
