Description

(R)-1-Amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene is a contactor that can be synthesized by the reaction of an enantiomerically pure amine with a primary oxidant. (R)-1-Amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene has been shown to have high reactivity and specificity for the oxidation of primary amines. This compound is also stable in the presence of chiral environments. The kinetics of this compound are determined by the rate at which the oxidizing agent reacts with the substrate.
