• Description: Ammonium perfluoro(2-methyl-3-oxahexanoate) is a short-chain fatty acid that inhibits the activity of the ATP binding cassette transporter. It has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the growth of cancer cells and increasing their sensitivity to chemotherapy drugs. Ammonium perfluoro(2-methyl-3-oxahexanoate) is used in animal models to study the effects of cancer on protein transport, as well as to assess its toxicity.
