Description :
3-Amino-1-methyl-5-methylthio-1,2,4-triazole is a hydrazine compound that has been used for the preparation of magnetic nanoparticles. It has also been used in the synthesis of acetonitrile derivatives and as a target product for reaction with dimethylformamide. 3-Amino-1-methyl-5-methylthio-1,2,4-triazole has been shown to react in an exothermic manner with oxygen at room temperature.
