3-Aminophenylboronic acid pinacol ester is a hydroxylated compound that belongs to the group of hydrophilic compounds. It is used as a fluorescent probe for the detection of proteins, nucleic acids, and other biological molecules. 3-Aminophenylboronic acid pinacol ester has been shown to be an efficient method for the preparation of amines with gold nanoparticles. This compound was also found to be a good substrate for x-ray diffraction studies and adsorption mechanisms.
