Description :
3-(6-(3-Aminophenyl)-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yloxy)phenol is an oral erythromycin that has been shown to bind to the cytochrome P450 3A (CYP3A) enzyme and inhibit its activity. This drug is used in chemotherapy treatment as a marker and prognosis for cancer patients. The oral form of this drug can interact with other medications, such as CYP3A substrates, and can alter their pharmacokinetics. Inorganic 3-(6-(3-aminophenyl)-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yloxy)phenol binds to the erythromycin receptor on the ribosome in bacteria and inhibits protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit.
