Description

1-Amino-2-propanol is a corrin, which belongs to the class of multivorans. It is a high specificity enzyme that can hydrolyze l-threonine, an anaerobe. 1-Amino-2-propanol has been shown to have structural analysis and biosynthesis that is dependent on the presence of vitamin B12. 1-Amino-2-propanol also participates in the linker reaction with the gene product to form corrinoids. 1-Amino-2-propanol has been shown to be capable of dehalogenating chlorinated aromatic compounds such as tenofovir.
