Informations sur le produit
3-(1-Aminoethyl)phenol is a chiral, tartaric acid derivative that is used in organic synthesis. 3-(1-Aminoethyl)phenol is synthesized by the reaction of tartaric acid with ethylamine and hydrolyzing the resulting product with hydrochloric acid. This compound is used in the production of polypeptides and other bioactive molecules. The enzyme transaminase catalyzes this reaction, which converts 3-(1-aminoethyl)phenol to 2,4-diacetyloxybutanedioate. The enzyme acetonitrile glycohydrolase catalyzes the conversion of 2,4-diacetyloxybutanedioate to 2,4-diacetyloxybutanoate. 3-(1-Aminoethyl)phenol can be converted into a variety of other compounds through various reactions with carbonyl compounds or amines.
